Imagine

“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.”- Ephesians 3:20

We are asking God to do something significant in our lives as individuals and in our church. Please join us over the next 21 days as we seek God and ask him to move in a mighty way. We would love to hear about what God is doing in your life.

INTRODUCTION Imagine! Over the next 21-days, we will be challenged to imagine! The dictionary says imagination is “forming mental images or concepts of what is not actually present to the senses.” The Bible uses another term for that definition: Faith.

“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” - Hebrews 11:1

The writer of Hebrews goes on to tell us that the earliest followers of God “obtained a good testimony” through faith (Hebrews 11:2). We’re also instructed that “without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” (Hebrews 11:6).

So it is with this in mind that we begin a 21-day journey of imagining things not yet seen! By faith, we believe that God will reward those of us who diligently seek Him. As a body of believers, we want God to plant incredible imaginings in our minds for the role each of us will play to further His good-news message through our church! And we believe that through this faith-filled journey, we will obtain a good testimony. In fact, we believe that God is able to do immeasurably more than our human minds can imagine!

HOW TO USE THIS 21-DAY DEVOTIONAL:
This devotional is organized into four key areas for reflection and prayer:

1. Imagine through Repentance
2. Imagine through Sacrifice
3. Imagine through Vision
4. Imagine through Listening

At the end of each focus is a “Faith Thought” - a devotion designed to help you couple powerful faith with the challenges of repentance, sacrifice, seeing God’s vision, and hearing God’s voice.

Each day includes a Bible reference, a brief meditation, and a prayer. We would encourage you to say the prayer out loud, if possible. When we hear ourselves speaking God’s Word and praying, it becomes a declaration that penetrates our inner-most being and builds our faith!
